Rick Perry on Donald Trump’s Economic Policies: ‘Chunk it at the Wall and See What Sticks’
by Tommy Christopher | 3:27 pm, May 10th, 2016
Former Texas Governor and erstwhile Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry
continued his ongoing quest to make people thing “Hey, maybe Sarah Palin
is’t so dumb after all” when he appeared on CNN Tuesday morning to stump for former “cancer on conservatism” Donald Trump
. In an interview with Chris Cuomo
, Perry said he endorsed Trump because, despite not being Perry’s first or second choice, Trump believes in “devolving power” from Washington, DC. But then, in the next breath, Perry seemed to indicate that Donald Trump could safely spitball potentially dangerous economic ideas because the power in Washington, DC would keep a lid on him:
On the plus side, Perry did manage to get through a list of three things, but if his best argument for Trump is that Congress can stop him if he gets too crazy, maybe he ought to get out of the surrogate business. I hear Buzzfeed is looking for a guy who can write most of a listicle.

- I say I don’t have a problem having a conversation about a lot of different alternatives out there about how you deal with the debt. And so you know, having a conversation and then moving it through Washington and getting that to be reality are two different things. So throwing out a lot of different ideas, I mean, chunk it at the wall and see what sticks. I don’t have a problem with that.
And return of the witty jewy-jew-jew comments!

I just have three things to say about Governor Perry:
1. He isn't very bright.
2. The rumors of his affairs are believable.
3. I forget
Nobody gets paid to tell the truth.
