Simon Magus. Yes it appears to be true that large portions of the N.T. were written by a false apostle of the Messiah. I have spent many years being awoken to this truth. I don't take it lightly. But Saul of Tarsus has many doctrines that go directly against the teachings of Christ. The Jews tried to destroy His message by killing the early Christians but that back fired and caused their numbers to grow. Saul stepped in the change the message and derail the teachings of the Messiah.
